Uploading large library package fails

Im having a strange issue when uploading library packages through web UI.

I have a 150mb zip file. When I try to upload the package it looks like its a success. But when I check the file size it says its only 100mb.

  • Besides the size error, does the package get deployed successfully when you us it in a deployment?
  • Which version of Octopus are you running?

No the package is corrupt.

We are on 2018.6.2. This issue also occurs in the previous version.

Here is one more thing to note. If I RDP into the server with the Octopus node running on it I can Successfully upload the 150mb package from there.

  • Can you try pushing the package using Octo.exe and see if you get the same result?

  • Do you have some sort of proxy or anything like that in front of your Octopus Server?

  • Is your Octopus server VM running any kind of anti-virus scanner? In that case could you check its logs for anything related to the new package?
