Update Octopus variables from Jenkins/TFS

Hi,

I am looking to pass some variables information from Jenkins to Octopus.
This is basically to update the variables defined in an Octopus project with the value received from Jenkins.
Please can you advise if there is a straightforward way of doing it?

Hi Pratik,

Thanks for getting in touch.

You can do this by using prompted variables in your project and then providing the value from Jenkins in the call to octo.exe.
