I know that Bob has already ready replied via email, I’m duplicating the response here as well in case it useful in future.

Thank you for reaching out. That is a real bummer the service isn’t starting for you. It looks like Octopus is having problems finding the server log storage location. If you RDP into the VM and run the Octopus Manager (the typical path is C:\Program Files\Octopus Deploy\Octopus\ Octopus.Manager.Server.exe). When you open it up you should see a screen similar to this. In the middle of the screen is the folder where Octopus tries to store the logs.

Your configuration will be different, but the most important question is does the path shown on your screen exist? If not, you can either create the folder or uninstall and reinstall Octopus but set the log directory to a location which does exist.
