Thanks for getting in touch!

When the create release command has multiple channels and no clear way to determine which one to create a release in this error will occur.

There are two ways to resolve this:

• The first would be to add the --channel=VALUE argument to your build step to let Octopus know which channel to use
• The second option would be to edit your channels to include version rules which would allow Octopus to determine the correct channel for a release based on the package version
