Trying to create a conditional SSL binding to a website

Hi,

I’m trying to create a conditional SSL binding to a website but have run into problems. I’ve attached screenshots of the configuration screen as is, and the error that I get. What could be the problem with this?

As you can see, I have captured the config screens and variables in screenshots with the error I get

I’ve tried the variables as True and False, true and false, and 1 and 0, all of which fail with the same error. We are running Octopus version 3.3.5

The first of the variables (True) is bound to a specific environment. For the last one, no environment is selected.

thanks

Oscar

Hi Oscar,

Thanks for getting in touch! What you are doing so far looks correct. Yes the variables True and False do require capital letters at the start.
Could you attach your full deployment log with variable logging turned on once you change the Boolean values?
Could you also please attach a full screen shot of your variables with their scoping.
The following links show you how to enable variable logging and get the raw output.

Looking forward to hearing from you and helping to solve this.

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Can I email the logs to you directly?

thanks
