Tracking of release deployed to an agent

Hello all,

Is there a way currently to track which release of a project has been deployed on a per-agent basis? We are using Octopus to deploy to some systems that end up going out of the office to demo the product, and when they come back we don’t necessarily know from the web interface which release that system has. We’ve been editing the name of the systems to reflect the deployment release, but that’s not incredibly maintainable. Thanks!

Hi Stephen,

There isn’t any mechanism to support this in Octopus today; the closest I can come up with is to use a Script Step in the deployment to record this information via a central database/web service that you create.

If I come up with anything better I’ll let you know.
