I’m getting this error in the following locations:

  • Dashboard --> Configure
  • Projects (also no projects are listed in the dropdown)
  • Tasks
  • Configuration --> Audit
  • Configuration --> Test Permissions

I believe this is the same issue as this post, because it appears to have occurred after a step template upgrade. We cannot run the script provided in the associated GitHub issue because we only have SQL Server 2014 and the script was written for 2016.

Please assist.

We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.

It is likely you are correct, and the problem is caused by the issue you reference.

Just now we have released 2018.9.9 which contains both a database upgrade that should correct your data, and a change to prevent this from occurring in the future.

I would certainly suggest that you take a backup of your database, and then run the 2018.9.9 install.

If the error happens to persist after this, please let me know and I will ask for your database backup and we’ll create a custom utility to get you back up and running ASAP.

Again, we are truly sorry. If there’s anything else we can do to help please don’t hesitate to let us know.

Regards,
Michael
