Template library disqus links point to localhost

I received a Disqus notification of comments on a public step template.

The URL to the discussion topic in the e-mail was http://disq.us/url?impression=ba406d4a-2200-11e8-852e-00259085287c&thread=4042407647&forum=3012863&url=http%3A%2F%2Flocalhost%3A4000%2F%23!!%2Fstep-template%2Factiontemplate-sql-deploy-dacpac%23comment-3791287524%3A24orFwa5dAzbJrsFJCWA59g3_FA&variant=active&experiment=digests&behavior=click&post=3791287524&type=notification.post.registered&event=email.

This then sent me to a URL of http://localhost:4000/#!!/step-template/actiontemplate-sql-deploy-dacpac#comment-3791287524, which of course didn’t work.

Is it possible that the Disqus settings for the public step templates library need to be tweaked to specify the hostname for the site, e.g. https://library.octopusdeploy.com?

Hi Sean,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, I’ll have a look and see if there is anything that we can do to update these incorrect URLs.

Searching the Internet and the Disqus help forums there seems to be very little one can do once a discussion has been created…but I’ll do what I can to get it updated
