Teamcity agentless build steps

Is there any plan to support teamcity agentless build steps, would be great to free up agents to do actual builds instead of having them caught up just waiting for the deploy to complete

Thanks for getting in touch! Firstly I agree this is an awesome idea that seems to fit perfectly with Octopus. We’ve recently had some discussion on building support for agentless build steps, though at the moment as we’re deep in the development of some big features (Config as code, inter-space migrations, and others), I don’t imagine it will be tackled in the super near future.

If/when we commit to it, I imagine it’ll be a feature we’d like to make a bit of noise about. I’m sorry I can’t give you a clearer picture on it at the moment. Let us know if you have any further questions. :slight_smile:
