Task log rotation

Hi!

Can i do automate task log rotation?

I can setup rotation logs for Octopus Server (by the octopus.server.exe.nlog) and for Octopus Tentacle (tentacle.exe.nlog). What about tasks log?

Thank you for reaching out to us with your query.

Task logs are stored in the database and are managed by the Octopus Server itself. This means that there is no need to configure task log file rotation.

You might be interested in setting up a custom retention policy however. Retention policies allow you to choose when releases (including their task logs), packages, files and so on are deleted. You can find out more on the page below:
