Step template and parameters

Hi,

I have created a step template (using powershell) which a parameter SiteRootDir which I set to c:\inetpub\wwwroot\Website#{Octopus.Release.Number} when I use this parameter it still has #{Octopus.Release.Number} how can this be correctly intrepreted as 2.4.5 for example withint he script.
