SQL command error after Octopus Update to 2022.1

Hello,

after update Octopus Deploy to 2022.1 (2278) in Diagnostics section I see some error logs:

An error occurred while trying to trying fetch the number of active SQL transactions: "Error while executing SQL command in transaction 'SqlTransactionMetricsProducer.UpdateMetrics': VIEW SERVER STATE permission was denied on object 'server', database 'master'.
The user does not have permission to perform this action.

Checks are made very frequently. Could you help resolve this issue?

Thanks for getting in touch!

You are correct that the linked issue is what you are encountering here.

Until 2022.2.1302 is released the only way to resolve this would be to grant the Octopus Deploy server database user the VIEW SERVER STATE database permission.
