Regarding the documentation, you found those are excellent references to pass along to your IT Team. They provide more verbose guidance than I can reasonably do in this format.

Implementing Azure Active Directory authentication is not required for Octopus to use ADO, but if you have an enterprise need for AAD that documentation can help your IT team set it up as well. Feel free to pass it along to your IT team as well.
