Setting Up local admin with username/password with Windows Authentication enabled

Is it possible to set up a user account for admin use, using username/password while using Windows Authentication for other users to login to the server?

So for example if I want to create an admin or test account to login to Octopus for role testing, but I don’t have access to create accounts on the Active Directory that users would normally use to login. Is there a way to create a user in Octopus with a username/password, or use a local user account on the server that Octopus is installed on to login?

I’m afraid this isn’t possible. If you are in AD mode, you need to use an AD user account. Local user accounts won’t work either. You’re gonna have to reach out to your Domain Admin and ask him to create a test user account for you.
