We send out deployment notifications for deployments which I’d like to automate. Luckily we already have a policy of setting up deployments before hand to kick off at a certain time. What I’d like to do is have Octopus send an email when a deployment has been scheduled and when it starts. The when it starts is simple, but I can’t see a way to trigger an email when it’s scheduled.

Thanks for getting in touch! There is no way to trigger an email when a deployment is scheduled. Any activity only starts when the deployment starts.
I would suggest adding your idea to our UserVoice site so we can see if it is a feature that is needed by the community.
