Retry options in octopus deployment steps

Hi

We are having around 20 steps to deploy to each environment. I would like to implement retry options in case of failure (Like email sent)

Is that possible to implement this

Hi Venkat,

Thanks for reaching out. At the moment this is only possible through the use of the Guided Failure feature. This feature will stop the deployment once a step fails, allowing you to review it and then retry it, which is an approach we think is more appropriate than doing a blind retry.

There’s a uservoice sugestion open for what you are asking though. Feel free to drop some votes on it and why not a comment explaining why you think this feature would be useful.
