Retrieving Octopus tentacle Thumbprint

HI all,

While creating new tentacle installation,mistakenly i have updated server thumbprint on a previous client tentacle due to which it is failing .Is there any way to retrieve tentacle’s thumbprint and reset it with the previous thumbprint.Please advice me.

The server thumbprint for a tentacle can be retrieved from the Octopus Server.

  1. In the Octopus Web Portal , navigate to the Infrastructure tab, select Deployment Targets and click ADD DEPLOYMENT TARGET ➜ WINDOWS , and select Listening Tentacle .
  2. Copy the Thumbprint (the long alphanumerical string).
