Release notes not rendered in e-mail template

I’ve included some release notes in my NuGet package from Teamcity. The notes are visible in Octopus. However, when I try to use the notes in the email template, using #{Octopus.Release.Notes}, nothing is shown.
The email is the first step in my process, are the notes visible after nuget package deployment step?

Hi Folkert,

Thanks for getting in touch! The variable #{Octopus.Release.Notes} references the release notes of the Octopus release, not the ones of the Nuget package. There is a uservoice suggestion (suggested by me :slight_smile: ) to add a variable that holds the Nuget package’s release notes. Please drop by and put some votes into it if you’d like to see it on future versions
