Question: Is it possible to have multiple packages for a Project

Hi,

The packages for my applications are very large (> 2GB when zipped).

I have the following components in my project:

  • Database
  • Multiple Windows Services
  • Website
  • Various Windows Clients

Is it possible to associate multiple packages with a project? If so, how?

I’d like to avoid having multiple projects to manage a single Product.

Based on the information provided in your query, it’s definitely possible to include multiple packages within a single project, you would just need to include a separate Deploy Package step for each of the associated packages.

We are currently working on allowing multiple packages within a single step (to reduce the number of steps required) in addition to allowing a package to be deployed alongside a script step.

I’d recommend keeping up to date with our Release Notes to be aware of this feature introduction.
