I have a Octopus running onprem and have created an account in Octopus Cloud and are trying to create a Listening Tentacle that will run on a company network behind a firewall.
Reading:
It is not clear to me if the Proxy server should be installed and running on a 3:rd server such as in Azure or AWS where it is accessible from both my Octopus instance in Cloud and from Tentacles on my company network or if Proxy server is part of Octopus Cloud.
Any proxies servers will need to be created and hosted independently from Octopus. We don’t provide any built-in proxy functionality.
If you need to place a proxy between an Octopus Cloud instance and your tentacle then it would need to be in a location that can be access by both parts.
