Providing a value for a prompted variable in a scheduled trigger

We have a build that runs automated tests on one of several target systems. That target system is defined as a prompted variable which makes it very intuitive to use, but now we are running into a problem when trying to schedule a trigger for that build: I can’t seem to find a possiblity to provide a value for the prompted variable anywhere and without it, the build fails - even when the prompted variable has a default value.

Is there any way to define a value for the prompted variable or do I have to find a different approach to schedule a build like that?

Hi,

Thanks for getting in touch! I’m very sorry for the delay in getting back to you. This thread fell through the cracks. :frowning:

Unfortunately it’s not currently possible to provide a prompted variable’s value within scheduled triggers. I’d recommend suggesting this enhancement on our UserVoice site in order to gauge community support and determine its priority for future releases.

I’m sorry it’s not the news you were after! Please let me know if you have any further questions moving forward.

Best regards,

Kenny
