It was brought to my attention that one of the lifecycles doesnt display a full list of projects using it. What can i do to make them all show up? I currently only see 2 out of the 8 that share it.
My octopus version is 2021.3

That is definitely strange that projects wouldn’t be appearing under the Usage tab for Lifecycles, are these projects using Automatic Release Creation by any chance? Just confirming if these projects appear ok in other Lifecycle’s Usage tabs?
It’s possible you’ve run into a recently resolved issue which could fit what’s going on. This was resolved for versions 2021.3.10322+ so if you aren’t on the latest release (2021.3.12132) , I would definitely recommend upgrading and seeing if the issue is still present.

No… t blocking deployments, more of an issue when trying to find what lifecycles are associated with what projects.

I could reproduce the problem in the latest build
### What happened?
When creating a project with a lifecycle associated to it it will show that project in the Lifecycles - Usage tab.
If you then enable ARC for that project and go back to Lifecycles > Usage - it will show there are no projects associated with that lifecycle.
If you then disable ARC for that project the Lifecycles > Usage page then goes back to showing it has associated projects.
Confirming Enabling ARC on a project clears the Lifecycles > Usage page of all associated projects.
### Reproduction
- Create a package in the internal octopus package repo.
- Create a project and add a 'deploy a package' step and link the package repo created above.
- Create a new lifecycle and associate it to the new project.
- See the Lifecycles > Usage page shows it's associated with that project.
- Go back into the project and enable ARC and point it to the 'deploy package' step.
- Go back to Lifecycles > Usage page and see it shows it's **_not_** associated with any projects.
- Delete ARC for that project and see Lifecycles > Usage page shows it is once again associated with that project.

This was mentioned in https://github.com/OctopusDeploy/Issues/issues/7004 but it has not been fixed.
This bug behaves differently in that ARC is showing the package whereas in the GitHub issue posted above it wasn't showing the package so a new Issue has been created.
### Workaround
No workarounds are known, the only way to show associated projects in a lifecycle is to disable ARC for the project.

We are not using ARC. The design goal for our pipeline is that releases are created from a build in team city, though this lifecycle will automatically deploy them when a release is made. I think though at one point the project was setup for ARC.
I’ll try the upgrade and see if that does it.

That fixes the issue completely. It took me a bit to schedule the upgrade but I can see all of the projects in the usage tab.
However, I’m now encountering a new issue which I’ll make a separate thread for.
