Project Viewer Role

I setup the Everyone team with the Project Viewer role so they can log in and see the details of a deployment. But, the one thing they cannot see are the Project Steps that were executed. To give them the ability to see the steps I had to grant the Everyone team the Project Contributor role. I don’t like doing this because that role gives them editing privileges. Is there a different role I could use to allow viewing of projects and the project steps for a given release?

Hi Dan,

Thanks for getting in touch with all of this info. We’re going to review the built in roles shortly and will take this into account. Though not the exact same request, I’ve linked this thread from https://github.com/OctopusDeploy/Issues/issues/573?source=cc so that we can address these items together.
