Currently I’m testing Octopus deploy to deploy our applications to out customers. I have a deploy project that installs mssql server. know I would like to schedule the deployment. scheduled time should be the time of the actual deployment/installation starts and not the download of the package. is there a way to pre download the package to the client? I only want to schedule the installation step.

I do have to apologise for the delay in getting back to you on this one, I let it get lost amongst the tickets I had in my queue.
What I would suggest in this case would be to use a separate project to transfer the package to the client using the custom install directory option so that it’s transferred to a known location. Then you can use your install project to start the install on the schedule that you need.
