Pre-deployment script missing in Deploy Package step

In the older versions we had an option of Pre-deployment script in the “Deploy Package step”
However this seems to be missing in the recent versions.
I am planning to upgrade the existing Octopus instance, however things like this is stopping me from doing it.
Please advise best way to import/export from old version instance to the newer version instance.

Sorry to hear you’re having issues here. Custom deployment scripts are still available in Octopus, they might just be in a different place than you are used to. To find and enable them now, simply load up your deployment step, then click on the “Configure Features” button in the top-right (next to save), and then enable the “Custom Deployment Scripts” option.
