There is currently no way to simply syntax check powershell code in octopus deploy which has caused several errors with us just from user mistakes. It would be nice to include something like this https://github.com/edyoung/pint (which just uses the powershell 3.0 validator). I think this would help a bunch of people out.

Thanks for getting in touch. I do agree this is a good suggestion. We already have an entry on Uservoice for it, but it doesn’t have many votes from the community (yet). Please try to drop by and put some votes on it
