Octopus Tentacle on same machine as the Server

Can I do it? I know that every step or custom task might be run at Octopus Server itself, but for convenience (running steps at whole CI/CD environment) I’ll prefer it as the Deployment Target as every other machine.

Server is installed in default “C:\Octopus” location.
Should I install Tentacle at different one, or may I use the same, default also for Tentacle path?

Thanks for reaching out. You most certainly can install a Tentacle on the Octopus Server itself. You can use the default install directories for the Tentacle and should have no issues.
