Octopus is not coming out of powershell script

Hi ,

I am trying to run a powershell script to execute a jar file. It is executing the jar file but octopus keeps on waiting for the script and it never comes out. This is not happening when i am using Powershell IDE.

& “<C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_171\bin\java.exe>” -jar ADEPhase2.jar

The Jar file is selenium script for automation testing. Please help since it is a roadblock for me.

Hi, Thanks for getting in touch! I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this one! We have seen some cases where executing selenium scripts through an Octopus Tentacle require that you tick the box “Allow service to interact with desktop” when configuring the Tentacle Service in Windows.

I’m interested to know if ticking this box works in your case and I look forward to working with you in getting this one resolved.
