Octopus Application Server Cleanup

Hi Octopus Support,

We’ve recently seen space issues on our Octopus application servers on below path:

D:\Octopus\OctopusServer\PackageCache

Main path has *.nupkg.octosig / *…octodelta files. Sub directory’s for each Artifactory feeds contain .nupkg files. We wish to create clean job to limit the number of files here, firstly we would like to check for any ramifications for removal.

Hi Richard,

Thanks for getting in touch! By default, Octopus will clear this directory every 20 days, but this can be customized to any number of days you’d like by running the following command:

Octopus.Server.exe configure --cachePackages=[days]

Your idea for a scheduled task to clean this folder will also work, and I don’t foresee any ramifications.
