Hey guys,
On server creation my systems download the newest octopustools.zip from this octopusdeploy.com, extracts the exe and than requests a deployment to that new machine.
Today I noticed my new machines were joining correctly but no deployments were going out.
When I run the script manually I am getting following:
“The program cant start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.”
I’m guessing a missing dll?

We’ve moved Octo.exe to .net core, and there appears that some pre-requisite is missing on your server, we’ve been able to replicate the issue and are currently investigating to find what the missing link is.
Could you please let me know what operating system your servers are running?
In the meantime, it would be safest to download the previous Octo.exe version on this link.
I’m sorry for the inconvenience caused by this issue, but I’m hoping we will have a solution for it asap.
