Is there a way I could notify users with a small banner on top of the application that there is a planned maintenance window?
We’re running Octopus Deploy Server.

Currently, there is no way to provide a user with a customized banner in the Octopus application when there is a planned maintenance window. I don’t believe this is something that we have on our roadmap to change any time soon.
If you do set maintenance mode on the Octopus instance however, a generic banner will appear like so:
