No install location found for step

Hi

We are experimenting with some deployment using WebDeploy to azure websites but keep getting a No install location found for step error.

We are not using any substeps and do have a tentacle for the Role and Environment as has been pointed out here http://help.octopusdeploy.com/discussions/questions/1176-support-for-azure-web-sites

Octopus deploy version: 2.5.3.245

Thanks for getting in touch! Could you please provide a screenshot of your process screen, and also a screenshot of the web deploy screen with the step name value shown.
Also a full deployment log will help us find the issue here.

Hi Christian and anyone else who hits this issue,

In my case this was because I’d set the preceding local deployment step to run only in my CI environment. You can see the error circled in red in the attachment.
