I have a template step which used by several projects. This step include “Substitute Variables in Files” feature and try to perform variable substitution on files by patterns like that:
#{Service}*.csf
#{Service}*.ctf
#{Service}*.config
But projects are slightly different and not all of them include any .config file for example. And i have annoying warnings during a deployment process.
Is there a way to disable “No files were found that match the substitution target pattern” warning?
Thanks for getting in touch! Unfortunately, we do not have any options for disabling this warning in your deployment.
If you would like to see this behaviour implemented into Octopus, the best place to suggest it would be our UserVoice suggestions page. Here you can create suggestions and vote/commend on other community suggestions. If an idea gathers enough community support, we can look into implementing it into Octopus.
