New Environment not available for Deployment

I have created a new Environment. The Machine has passed the health check. It is also configured the same role as the existing environment. When I create a new release, I cannot choose the new environment. Do I need to restart the octopus service in order to see the new environment?

Thanks for getting in touch. Please check your Project Group settings (on the Projects page) - it has a field which sets the environments that the project can be deployed to. You can add the new environment there, or clear the field to allow deployments to any environment.
