can we get what is the username and passwords for db we used while setting up octopus deploy server instance ?

i accidentally deleted the instance and need to configure back

Unfortunately, I don’t believe there’s a method to retrieve the username and password used during the initial setup.

Are you able to use a Local Admin or Admin access to the SQL Server to create a new account and then use that to authenticate Octopus with the Database?

As long as the login has access to the Octopus Database, any username/password can be used, it doesn’t require that it’s the same username that initially set up the database.
