"Missing permission: ProjectEdit" on project Overview

Upgraded: 3.3.21 => 3.4

Users with ProjectView can no longer view the Overview page of their projects. They are being told they now require the ProjectEdit permission. See attached image.

This seems incorrect. Is it intentional? If so, how can I get around it without granting ProjectEdit privileges to everyone?

Hi,

Thanks for getting in touch and for bringing this to our attention.

We unintentionally made ProjectEdit a requirement to view the project dashboard. Here is a ticket here to follow progress: https://github.com/OctopusDeploy/Issues/issues/2654

This should be fix in the next release.
