Are there any migration instructions for SQL Express to MSSQLSERVER Standard for octopus Server?

Thanks for getting in touch! We don’t have any instructions on migration between these specific SQL servers, though the process would be the same as outlined in the following guide:

  1. Place your server into maintenance mode and stop the service once tasks have completed
  2. Take a backup of your database and masterkey
  3. Restore your database on your new server
  4. Update the connection string on your original Octopus server
