Manual intervention for multiple tenants

In this post suggestion was raised:

Manual Intervention en masse

When using multi-tenant deployments, it can be cumbersome to use the manual intervention step. This step requires a number of actions for each individual tenant. What about adding some UI to complete these steps en masse? Perhaps with checkboxes or some other way of indicating which tenants the user is approving.

Im now asking for best workaround in current version.

What we want
We would like to have one manual intervention, for all tenants together, before deploy to Prod.

Our thoughts
We are thinking of:

• Create an environment (and phase) called “Ready for Prod”. Phase will be between “Stage” and “Prod”.
• The only tenant connected to “Ready for Prod” is the Octopus server itself
• The only active step in “Ready for Prod” is a manual intervention
• The step manual intervention is disabled in all other environments

This means all releases must pass the phase “Ready for Prod”, where a manual intervention is needed, before its possible to promote to Prod.

Thanks for getting in touch! I think your workaround is great! I can not think of an easier way to achieve such a global intervention at the moment.
