Long Running Health Checks

Hello,

I have an issue where the automatic health check run for a very long time which causes delays in other tasks being run. They run for a long time because at any given time I have an environment of servers offline and we are waiting for the timeouts to occur. What I need to know is if there is a way to cause the health checks on only run once a day during off hours?

Hi Robert,

There’s no way to limit when health checks run currently. For Octopus 2.0 we put a timeout on how long health checks can take (5 minutes I believe) which will possibly help, and health checks no longer prevent any other tasks from running.
