Location of Log Files

My Octopus installments have gone fine and I am trying to debug a deploy error. I have dug around in both the Portal and Tentacle directories and cannot locate any log files. Where should I be looking for Octopus log files?

Hi Seth,

The complete logs for a deployment can be found in the web UI - the easiest way to find them is to go to the Tasks tab on the Octopus web portal, and find the failed task.

You can also find errors and warnings in the event log on the machines that ran them, but the output shown in the web portal is the most complete log.
