Is it possible to specify steps to be run when deploying rather than steps to be skipped?

It is possible to to use --skip option to choose steps that you do not wish to run when deploying a release. If I want to be able to do the opposite and only run steps that I specify is there a way to do this?

Hi Rob,

Thanks for getting in touch! The short answer is no, Even via the UI we only have the ability to skip steps (with a quick selector to skip all).
I would suggest checking our UserVoice site to see if there are any similar suggestions or create your own. https://octopusdeploy.uservoice.com/

It does make me wonder if there is an easier method for you however. How often do you have to skip more steps than execute?
Is there any reason for this? It is a pattern for either environments, or builds?

There may be a better mousetrap  Let me know!
