Install OD into its own Virtual Directory

Hi all,

Is it possible/supported that OD can be installed to a virtual directory instead of at the root of an IIS website? (NOTE: I’m not asking if I can deploy apps to virtual directories, I’m asking if OD can be installed under a Vdir.)

Hi Andrew,

Yes, it is. After installing Octopus the first time (it will try to install to a web site) you can move it to a virtual directory. We don’t recommend it but some customers do use it this way with success.
