I’m currently creating my releases as part of my TC builds, but Octopus always creates releases using its own number convention. I was wondering how can I tell Octopus to create the release using the same version as my build.

Thanks for getting in touch. In the same TC step where you are creating the release, there’s a field called Version that determines the version of the Octopus Release. If you put the TC variable that holds the build number/version in there, that should do the trick.
