Increase in node task cap

Hi,
At the moment I have 2 Octopus Deploy nodes on a load balanced architecture. I have a task cap of 20 on each node. I would like to know if there are any limitations of the number of tasks set per node and will there be any affects on the server if I increase to 40 tasks per node?

There isn’t any coded limits on the number of tasks per node, however, as the number is increased it will be generating additional usage on the node itself and on the database. For this reason we advise to increase the caps in small increments until you reach the desired amount.
