Gettings issues while creating azure account in octopus deploy

(Joveenchacko) #1

I am trying to set up the azure account. Instructions followed https://octopus.com/docs/infrastructure/deployment-targets/azure#create-service-principal-account-in-azure

I always get below error when I Click Save+Test
Unable to verify account: The client ‘dbac90b5-7514-4ea7-a283-da01ee58ed38’ with object id ‘dbac90b5-7514-4ea7-a283-da01ee58ed38’ does not have authorization to perform action ‘Microsoft.Resources/subscriptions/resourcegroups/read’ over scope ‘/subscriptions/12e67fb5-07ae-4e66-877c-e9d15cbca196’ or the scope is invalid. 1. I verified few times all the values are correct

  2. I also followed tips suggested in

4)

Please note I am farely new to Azure also. All I wanted to do was attempt a simple end to end deployment in Octopus deploy. Can be just uploading file, anything
