Getting the Tentacle Thumbprint

Hey

I want to get hold of the Tentacle Thumbprint without going though the GUI. Is there an easy way to get hold of this?
I want to write a powershell script that will register a brand new machine with our octopus server. Hope that makes sense.

Hi Anthony,

Octopus already has support for this (it will handle passing the thumbprint to the Tentacle for you). Please see “Registration” section on this link:

Thanks Paul that’s fantastic.

As a a side I searched for “Tentacle Thumbprint” in the knowledge base and nothing relevant came up. It’d be nice if you could search the docs as well at the same time.
