FTP deploy to Azure Web-Site: stuck with "Acces is denied. (code=550)" error

Hi there,

I’m trying to configure deployment to Azure Web Site via FTP deployment, and whatever I try I keep getting “Access is denied. (code=550)” error. Same username/password entered in regular FTP client on the same machine work just fine.

Any advice?

Hi Alexeyk,

Thanks for getting in touch! What type of FTP connection are you trying to run? FTP, FTPS or SFTP?
Octopus only supports FTP and FTPS. If it is either of these, then you could try setting it to passive/active.
