Force Step Template to be required

Hello,

We have a few Step Templates that are to be used across all of our deployments. What would be great is if we could force these steps to be required, rather than relying on engineers to tick the box when adding the step to a deployment process.

I can’t see any obvious way of doing this via the UI or API, but I just wanted to check if there was a way I was missing before I head over to User Voice?

Thanks for getting in touch. Unfortunately, you are correct that there is no way of forcing this box ticked by default.

Sad news :frowning:

The “Manual Intervention Required” step forces it to be required if one or more responsible teams are specified though, so I image it wouldn’t be the biggest task to add it as an option to Step Templates.

I’ve created a User Voice and hopefully it’ll be picked up in the near future.
