I’m trying to install code using Octopus and getting below error:

[ERROR] machine name : Setting up the Octopus Agent failed: Failed to read installation registry settings from target machine ‘machine name’. Reason: Value cannot be null.

Octopus version: v15.5.923.0-x64
OS version: Windows 2016 Datacenter version

Thanks for getting in touch, but I’m afraid that you have come to the wrong place.

This is the support site for Octopus Deploy, I believe you are looking for support for Microsofts tool called Octopus Deployment Tool. You’d need to contact Microsoft for support with the error you are seeing.
