We are struggling to migrate from 2.6 to 3.1.1.
During migration the Octopus says:
30 errors were encountered
deploymentprocess-projects-1-snapshot-1: Please select an Account or provide a variable expression for the Account ID to use.

Thanks for getting in touch. I’ve taken a look through the migration log you posted and I think I’ve got a good feel for what’s happening. Please feel free to confirm or correct me!
I’m assuming you have an Azure Cloud Service step in your Octopus 2.6 instance?
What is happening is the migrator is attempting to convert your Azure step into the new Octopus 3.1 Azure Cloud Service step but there is no Azure Account to reference from the new Azure Cloud Service step, and the validation is failing. The bad news is there is no work around.
I’ve created a GitHub Issue you can follow to keep track of when we resolve the issue.
I’m really sorry for the bad news, but I genuinely hope it’s worth the effort of upgrading and that you really enjoy using Octopus 3.1!
